Trent DSDC 2010 Conference

The Trent Dementia Services Development Centre annual conference (this year in association with Innovations in Dementia) will focus on creativity and well being.  People with dementia, writers, therapists and practitioners will deliver an inspiring and diverse range of workshops and presentations including the written and spoken word, film, drama, dance and music alongside the development of innovative services and practice.

"Unfettering the Imagination - Quality and Creativity in Dementia Care"

There is a growing evidence base for the use of psychosocial interventions for people with dementia and their carers.  This conference continues to examine some of the contextual issues and to 'showcase' practice examples, projects and initiatives from around the country.
